A Society Dedicated to Empowering Technology Leaders
We strive to be the leading provider of technical information, community services, and personalized support to the world’s computer science and technology communities, as well as to celebrate the contributions of computer science and engineering professionals who develop new technologies and applications to improve the lives of people everywhere.
Giving Back to the Community

This year the IEEE CS donated $10K to the MOVE Community Outreach: An IEEE USA initiative.

The purpose of this donation to the MOVE Community Outreach fund is to support the volunteer driven project to aid with short-term communications, computer and power solutions in disaster relief situations. Often working in conjunction with the American Red Cross, these temporary emergency relief provisions help disaster relief workers and individuals stay connected and make sure they can access the assistance they need. In addition to disaster relief efforts, IEEE-USA uses the MOVE vehicle for STEM outreach efforts.

These activities to assist victims of natural disasters support IEEE’s mission to advance technology for the benefit of humanity.
