Network and Advance Your Career
Rise to the top of computer science by engaging with our volunteer community, the bedrock of the world's most trusted association of computing professionals.
Computing’s Top Volunteer Committees
Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Computer Society, and our Technical Committees are where they gather and become global leaders in their communities. They organize conferences, engage with publications, develop programs for student activities, influence the development of standards, and more.
Special Technical Communities (STCs) are financially self-sustaining online communities of computing professionals (including students) who share a common technical, geographic, career, or other interest. STCs may be created around any set of ideas relevant to the Computer Society.
Providing Resources to Women
IEEE Computer Society takes the advancement of women in tech seriously. Not only do our authors do extensive research into how to encourage and promote girls and women to study and enter tech as a career, we offer vast resources for women to help each other through groups, networking, and awards.
