IEEE Computer Society and International Institute of Business Analysis Sign Memorandum of Understanding for Global Partnership Program
 

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 09 August 2017 – IEEE Computer Society (IEEE-CS) and International Institute of Business Analysis™ (IIBA® ) announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Global Partner Program (GPP). The MoU is set to encourage the exchange and dissemination of technical information, to improve communications and outreach to both industry and academic institutions, and to promote understanding and cooperation between the members of IIBA and IEEE-CS.

The IIBA and IEEE-CS express their mutual interest in the following specific efforts:

  • Promote/support respective organization in the conferences;
  • Global reach – introduction to local chapters, membership, and clients;
  • Mutually provide membership discounts and other benefits;
  • Support respective efforts on Body of Knowledge-related activities; and
  • Promote respective training and certification initiatives.

Among its activities, IEEE-CS is engaged in providing professional education, training, assessment, evaluation, and certifications for computer professionals. IIBA, a non-profit professional association dedicated to the field of business analysis, works to maintain the global standard for the practices and certifications.

IEEE-CS and IIBA agree to collaborate in the professional education arena including courseware, certifications, bodies of knowledge, publications, and conferences/events, as mutually beneficial.
